Junior Rugby

Where confidence is built, friendships are formed, and a love of rugby begins.

Avoca Junior Rugby Club has been a proud part of the Central Coast community since 1980, forming at the very beginning of the Central Coast Junior Rugby Union competition. Today, we are the largest junior rugby club on the Coast, welcoming boys and girls from Under 6s through to Under 18s, including dedicated Under 14s and Under 16s girls teams. Our club is built on a culture of inclusiveness, community and development—giving every child the opportunity to learn, grow and love the game of rugby.

We are committed to providing the highest standard of coaching, with age-group coaches who bring extensive knowledge, passion and experience to every team. Supporting them are specialist technical coaches in areas such as ruck and maul, tackle technique, lineout, scrummaging and positional skills. This investment in development has made Avoca the most successful junior rugby club on the Central Coast, consistently producing talented players who go on to represent at state and Australian levels—an achievement we’re incredibly proud of for a small country rugby club. Avoca Junior Rugby is more than a club—it’s a pathway, a community, and a home for young rugby players to thrive.
